Bookings


 

Thank you for your interest in booking your event at Lazonby Village Hall.  Please see the calendar at the bottom of the page to check for probable availability and make your provisional booking.

Hire Charges
Please note, the minimum hire term of any booking is ONE hour and should include any setting up/clearing away time you require.

Additional Charges

Performance charge (for ticketed events open to the public)

Basic - £25 per performance

Includes use of all stage facilities, changing area, bluetooth P.A. system, pre-programmed stage lighting and up to 3 hours set up/clear away time.  

Enhanced - £50 per performance

As basic plus use of the mixing desk and specialist lighting system.

Kitchen

There is no charge for use of the kitchen for preparation of drinks and snacks.

Catering charges apply to the preparation of hot food and include full use of all facilities and equipment.

 

Community rate - £20 per booking

Private/business rate - £30 per booking

Advertising on the A0 poster board on the corner of Scaur Lane

Advertising for events being held at Lazonby Village Hall will be allocated on the poster board taking into consideration the needs of all hirers and committee organised events at the time.  

Please send artwork for your poster to lazonbyvillagehall@btinternet.com so that posters can be ordered, printed and displayed in good time.

Please follow the steps below to secure your booking and to ensure your time using the Hall is successful and runs as smoothly as possible.  We will endeavour to meet any additional requirements you have wherever possible.

1.  HIRER'S GUIDE & POLICIES:
Please fully read these documents (downloadable here) which provide you with important information about using the Hall and also outline your responsibilities as a hirer.  By making a booking at Lazonby Village Hall, you are agreeing that you have understood and will comply with all the terms and conditions laid out in these documents.

2.  BOOKING:
Bookings can be made through the HallMaster link on the 'what's on' page or below.  
To make a booking click the + at the top of your chosen day on the hall master calendar.

3.  PAYMENT:
 - F
or occasional and 'one-off' events to be held within six weeks of booking:
FULL payment is required on booking.


- For events booked more than six weeks in advance:
A deposit of 50% is required with the booking.  The balance is payable six weeks prior to the event.


 - Regular bookings:
These will be invoiced monthly by the treasurer.  Payment is required within 28 days of invoice.

4.  ACCESS:
Please ensure that this is clarified with the bookings secretary.
For regular bookings, keys
or codes are issued.  These should be kept secure and the committee should be made aware of who the current holder is.
For other bookings, arrangements for access/locking up will be made.  Should you find yourself locked out, please contact any committee member - contact details are displayed in the glass box in the main porch.
