Welcome to Lazonby Village Hall, a fabulous old building in the heart of the Eden Valley, Cumbria. It hosts many regular classes, events and functions and is also available to book for private parties, weddings and sports among other ideas.
Main Hall
The Main Hall boasts a full sized Badminton court with room to spare round the edge and a raised stage including multiple lighting options.
It is suitable for music events, parties, receptions and other large functions and can hold 150 - 200 people (depending on seating arrangements).
Kitchen
The kitchen has undergone a full refurbishment and extension. It is now re-open to hirers but you'll have to forgive the awaited finishing touches!
Hirers of any part of the hall can access the kitchen and use it for hot/cold drink and cold snack preparation free of charge.
The kitchen contains a wide range of commercial quality catering facilities including oven, hob, microwave, 4 pot bain-marie and multiple fridges, any/all of which can be made available to hirers for an additional charge.
Jubilee Room
The Jubilee Room is perfectly suited to smaller groups and meetings, holding 20 - 50 people. It is well lit and comfortably furnished with a large, interactive screen available.
The Jubilee Room also contains our fully licensed Bar.

Bar
The bar stocks a range of bottled/canned alcoholic and soft drinks. Special preferences or draught real ale can also be arranged on request.
The bar can usually be opened for any hirer and all alcohol consumed on the premises must come from the bar. In exceptional circumstances, alternative arrangements may be made - please speak to the committee about this in advance of hire.
