The village of Lazonby is a perfect retreat from urban life and a delightful introduction to the villages and countryside of Cumbria. Lazonby is only 15 miles from Carlisle, the great Scottish/English border city. Keswick, in the heart of the northern Lake District is a mere 20 minute drive. And the spectacular Roman Wall (Hadrian's Wall) is 20 miles away.
The River Eden is within walking distance of Lazonby and spectacular views of the Pennines can be enjoyed from the village.
